Dr. Woeltz has been practicing Neurology here in Paducah, since 1996. As a native, he graduated from St. Mary High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. Then he went on the University of Kentucky to complete his doctorate in Medicine. Following that, he spent the next four years at the Medical College of Georgia, where he completed his Residency in Neurology, having served as the Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Woeltz and his family then, moved to Evansville Indiana to practice in 1994 before finally moving back home. He became Board Certified in 1996 and re-certified in 2007.

His current practice is limited to Neurology where he primarily treats adult patients. His interests include: epilepsy, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, headache's, neuropathy, and other peripheral nerve disorders. He was recently names "Best Neurologist" in the 2012 Paducah Sun reader's choice awards.
